Its history begins in 1928 in Salo (Finland), where the gentlemen Nordell and Koskinen built crystal receivers for the new Finnish radio station. Other battery powered radios followed soon after, and in 1930 mains powered. In 1945, after the Second World War, the company was renamed SALORA O.Y.
